This next project, as I mentioned, is one of my favorites! You have quite a bit of creative freedom to use your skills in illustration and/or photography to really engage viewers and attract people to your chosen event. All visuals should be your original artwork. Think about type legibility and how the entire composition works together. The final poster will be 12" x 18", full bleed.
Possible events include:
- Concerts
- Plays
- Musicals
- Festivals
- Comedy shows
- Conventions
- Sporting events
If you can't think of anything, go through Creative Loafing to see what upcoming happenings might work out well for your chosen topic.
Remember to include on the poster:
1. Event name
2. Date(s)
3. Time
4. Web address
5. Ticket price, if applicable
6. Sponsors, if applicable
Look at other similar posters to see what information is relevant for you.
