Type and Logos:
- Is the type large enough (but not too large)? Meaning - is it readable, yet at the same time feeling balanced within the composition?
- Is the font weight visible enough to be seen/read from a distance?
- Is there enough contrast between the type color and the background color?
- Have you given a comfortable margin between text/logos and the edge of the poster? Also, does the text and logos work well with the imagery, and support it rather than feeling as if it were added as an afterthought?
- If you use a display typeface, is it readable? If there are certain characters that are difficult to decipher, edit as necessary.
Imagery:
- Are images and logos high enough resolution so they print cleanly?
- Have you checked colors so contrast works well?
Craftsmanship / Presentation:
- Have you included your label with logo on back of your board?
- Is your label and logo cut out neatly?
- Is your label adhered neatly to the back of the board?
- Are you using illustration board and not foam core?
- Have you removed all store labels from your boards on the back?
- Are your prints adhered well and smoothly to your boards?
- Are edges cut neatly and smoothly, without tears or rips?
- Have you checked for smudges or marks on the prints?
